Let's keep this on topic.

As I asked before, if you are not contributing to the thread in a positive way, or helping pin a time and date for a universal prayer that those interested can participate in, please keep your comments to yourself.

I will not say this again. Please do not test my patience.

It's sad to see Japan's problems compounding. Can we fix a time as early as possible, latest by this weekend?

Pray for a safe settling of the nuclear leak.

No more religious arguments, please, in front our common disaster, which
will adversely affect the fate of human kind, perhaps for generations to come.

The people of Japan have been in my thoughts and heart since I first saw the footage about 15 minutes after it hit. It will be a long recovery for northern Japan and I hope that as a collective the people of this world, no matter what religious or philosophical views, will have a long attention span for this tragedy.

Today I pledged some money to the Red Cross as well, I trust this organization and know they will put it to good use.

My heart goes out to the victims, families, friends, and everyone effected.

Indeed my family & I have been in frequent prayer for the people of Japan, for the many involved in heroic rescue & relief efforts, and especially for the bereaved families. We are also planning how best to donate what funds we can...

Thank you for your views. While we all do individually pray for the wellbeing of our friends and for the affected people there, I thought a collective prayer - so many hearts praying together at one time - will help mitigate their difficulties, at least spiritually. May I suggest 9 am GMT Sunday 20 March?
In addition, many of us are contributing to the relief funds too.
