Canon A300, 3.2 megapixel. Ran on 2 AAs and used Compactflash. Fixed focal length lens.

Was a great camera, BTW. Dropped it multiple times, kept on ticking.

I still have it. It's the Panasonic LC40s. The leica lens was the main reason. Did get some great shots with it when I bought it just before going home to Hawai'i.

I got my Panasonic also becaus it had a Leica lens. However I have an old...near 60 year old Leica (11f) with a 50mm F3.5 Leitz Elmar lens.

I was disappointed the 'Leica' lens on the Panasonic wasn't at the same level of quality of the Leitz Elmar.

Probably had too high expectations.

My first digicam was an HP Photosmart 612, 2.1MP, 2X zoom back in '02. The LCD screen on that POS was tiny, not much more than an inch square. IIRC it used a 16mb CF card. When it crapped out I replaced it with a Canon A75 which was an awesome little camera in it's day, 3.2MP with a nice 3X lens. The A75 actually came with a 32mb CF card in the box. Next up was a 5MP Fuji S5200, then a 9MP S9100. I replaced the S9100 with a Sony DSLR A200 which I still have, along with a Fuji HS10 and a little Pentax Optio E80 pocket digicam. It really amazes me how far digital photography's come in such a short time.

Fuji A205 2MP. Thing was like a little box. Still have it and it still works.
