Default Supermoon

For anyone wanting to get the best moon shot they can, a quick heads-up that tomorrow we're due a 'supermoon' where it will be at its closest to the Earth for 18 years. As an extra bonus, it'll also be full so should make for some great shots

Default Thanks, Martin, here's mine

Got a couple shots with 800mm f/8 lens with 2x TC. Not the sharpest combo, but not too bad. Not cropped, just downsized.

Here's my capture from last night. Nikon D90, 70-300mm VR at 300mm, f/8, 1/200s, and ISO 100 (Lo1) on a tripod.

Additional settings...Exposure Delay (waits 1 second after mirror flip,) wireless remote, and vibration reduction ON.

Great moon shots!

But ...... shooting the moon alone, doesn't show how large it is.

Look!
Up in the sky!
It's a bird!
It's a plane!
It's Supermoon!

(Yeah. I know. The wind is coming from the wrong direction.)
