Default Been splashing out

I'm getting myself set for a full on portable, mobile location studio shooting solution.

I've just ordered 6 x Cactus v5 remote triggers/receivers, a Lastolite Baby Poser, Interfit Giant Collapsible 2.5x5m Black background, barn doors and gels, twin flash clamp for outdoor shooting with 2 flash units for extra power when used in daylight, 40" umbrella, 50" x 25" softbox and think that's about it for now. Add this to my 5 mains powered strobes, soft boxes backgrounds, paper rolls etc and I'm hopefully good to go in any situation.

Looking forward to my new toys to arrive and then start getting some new clients. Will certainly be a lot of fun. I have a few friends who have new born babies so they will be my first targets to get samples done and then we are good to go with paying clients. I have marketing plans etc with a few mother baby, parent toddler groups to focus on to start with.

Sounds very exciting! I've always wondered what kind of results I could get with extra lighting beyond an external flash - someday I think it would be fun to try all this sort of equipment. Please post some with/without pictures when you get familiar with your new set-up.

Sounds like fun, just hope your car is big enough to carry all that new gear.

It should be a lot of fun. I hope that the investment pays off and sparks off more business. I will post some photos of everything when it all arrives in the next few weeks.
