Dave,
Change some kind of zoom to optical zoom.
Good pics to great
and as my friend Ray will tell you one that does not drop out of shirt pocket when you lean way forward, but we all all know its not the drop, its the sudden stop!

Or f100. Minolta f100 is a good little cam.

For a size factor- I like the little elph sized canons. I haven't used one since the S um... the 2 mp one.

Default Coolpix 4500

Of course you'll be wanting to take a very close look at the new Nikon Coolpix 4500! Lots of accessories, 4x optical zoom, 4MP, Panorama assist, tons of scene modes for the point and shooter. The swivel body is fantasic as well.

Good luck on your choice!

Ben the 4500?- he said he wants it to fit in his pocket.. what's he going to do- break the thing in half and stick a piece in each pocket? JK... the 4500 is a great cam- just not pocket sized.

By the way- i was just looking for a compact for the wife- the f100/dimage x is a much better deal money wise over the canon elphs & ixus (whats the plural of ixus). If the f100 took compact flash I'd be much happier about it though.

Default Pentax

The Pentax Optio 330 or 430 are very small but dont use aa batteries. 3x optical zoom and 3 mega pixel for 330 and 4 for 430.

Default Fits here

I was referring to pockets that would be in the clothing of a person, not a doll. I go for a walk every night with my 4500 and put it in my pocket with no problem! Its a great camera!
