Default Las Vegas consumer electronic show announcements?

Any news on digital cameras announced at this show? I was told there was one highlighted on CNN... and it might be the one I've been hoping for.... whatever that is! I can't find any info on the web searches I've done.

Anyone know what's new and unfortunately, how much it cost.

Thanks for sharing any news you have.

Default Oops!

ops: Still got plenty to learn! I didn't scroll down far enough!

Would one of the panasonics happen to be "a really nice camera coming with a stabilized zoom from one of the prominent camera companies"... or am I still clueless on that development?

Thanks for your help!

Panasonic just released their DMC-FZ10 with a 12x stabilized Leica lens on it, the review is here:

I can't tell you any specifics yet but there is another camera coming from a major maker with a stabilized zoom - it will be announced when we begin our PMA 2004 coverage next month.
