Default New Blog Header Image

I've just decided to update the header image on my blog and would like to get your thoughts on it. Does it do the job, would you like to see anything changed etc? How do you think non-photographers would look at this, will they stay and read or move on?

I know i've no replies here but a few others have replied on other forms.

How about one of the two attached images, do they work better than those on the blog currently or still something else to do improve?

I prefer the one on top.

I suspect that this is just me, but B&W images of babies always reminds me of shots taken by photojournalists covering famines in the third world. I suspect that's not what you've got in mind.

Let me split the difference here... I much prefer the color photo of the babies, but prefer how black transitions between the two photos to how the white background does. If you can do a shot like the first with a black background that works for that photo, I think it makes the banner transition more pleasing.

This is the same reason I prefer the second photo.

I like that your current banner has more examples of your work, however the 2nd banner you posted in the forums is much "cleaner".

If I was a potential client, I'd want to see as much or your work, as quickly as possible (less clicks). So, I think a modified version of the one in use now on your blog would be my pick
