Default straps

Do they make a swappable neck/wrist strap for DSLR's?
What I mean is not something you have muck with a whole lot, but more a "system" where you use whichever you want at the time?
I would use a wrist strap at times, and a neck strap at times.

So maybe something with a special fastner that allows switching at your whim would be ideal.

Know of anything?

Yes, I have a op-tech strap that does just that.
It has two toggle snaps at the ends you just pop off the neck strap portion and join the toggle ends to form a wrist strap.
Works well.

I use an OP/TECH USA Fashion Strap - 3/8". It's a three part strap with the center part a neoprene neck pad, which connects to the straps via the same quick disconnects used to secure bicycle helmets. I keep the straps sized so they attach to one another around the camera body with room for my hand, and when I want to I insert the neoprene pad so I can hang it around my neck.

Black Rapid Straps ( I have a RS-7) don't convert from a neck strap to a hand strap.

And they don't work easily with tripod quick release plates (except the Manfrotto RC-2 plate), important consideration if you make use a a tripod frequently.
