Pretty hard to use without Internet? Looking for reading material for a fishing trip where I will be without Internet for 8 days.

Ahhhh... Well, some that I've noticed in the magazine aisle and waiting rooms are: Popular Photography and Outdoor Photographer (Photography?)... I think there's a digital one too, but I'm not sure what it's called... National Geographic is awesome, though not a "photography" magazine, per-se. Oh! American Photography (Photographer?) is another one that I've seen!

ROTFLMAO! No doubt!

I was without internet for a couple of days, while they were working on it. I was so glad I had the cell phone that I had at that time; it had internet access.

Pop Photo, Steve's (read more than post), one of the other guy's forum and a few Scott Kelby books.

Honestly, I found most photo magazines to be a waste of time and money. Gear reviews are useless in them - they get their revenue from advertisement not subscription. So every piece of gear is the best thing ever. The likelihood of an article being pertinent to something I want to do is very tiny. In about 3 years of subscriptions there were probably about 4 articles that were good information. It's much easier to research on the internet or ask questions in forums. That way I get specific help/info. And, of course, 70% of the magazine is advertisement. I much prefer picking up Time or Newsweek or whatever other subject magazine strikes your fancy. Photo mags offer about an article or two at best of interest. Just my opinion though.
