Default Screen malfunction

G'day, I have a Pentax Optio W90, and after abusing it by burying it in the mud and throwing it into the water, it finally bit the dust after one of it's gaskets leaked water.

It was just out of warranty, so I tried drying it out, but while reassembling it, I may have damaged something because this happened:

Maybe I might have damaged the ribbon cable to the LCD or something when I nearly dropped it after touching the flash capacitor leads, but I would like to know for sure that the problem isn't in the main board before I buy a replacement LCD.

Also, after I turn the camera off, there is a faint horizontal stripe across the screen (in different spots every time with a different width). If anyone has any idea of where the problem might be (LCD module, graphics chip, etc.) or where to get a replacement LCD cheap, then let us know.
