Default Hoya Filters

I do virtually all of my photo shopping with B&H as my city doesn't have a dedicated camera shop. They have always been very helpful. I asked for a recommendation for a circular polarizer and they recommended Hoya Filters. Are the higher priced Hoyas as good as B&W's?

I would say no, Hoya's best isn't as good as B+W. But Hoya's best isn't bad.

This article http://www.lenstip.com/115.1-article...ters_test.html is the only round-up review of CPLs I have encountered. It is quite thorough and well worth a read. FWIW
