Default Best way to carry filters

I'm in the middle of a vacation and I carry a UV filter, circular polarizer, a star filter and a soft focus filter. What's the most efficient way to pack filters? Right now, I have the individual plastic boxes my B&W filters came in.

I use a LowePro S&F Filter Pouch 100 to haul my filters around

For now it is stuffed with 4 x 4*6 Lee filters, 1 x 4*4 Lee filter, 1 Cokin Z-pro holder with 67mm and 77mm rings and 2 polarizers.

It will hang on a belt or bag strap, and fits onto other Lowepro S&F bags that have the S&F attachment points sown on them.

I found the filter case shortly after getting a LowePro S&F Lens Exchange case 200 given to me.
Quite useful for swapping between two lenses on the go.

When I used to carry around a bunch of filters, I would just stack them onto one another, put a cheap lens cap over one end of the stack, and put a cheap fliter on the other end.

I have a filter "wallet" that I got a few years back from Adorama. But I no longer carry a lot of filters -- I carry one CPL that fits my standard and tele zooms and one ND8 that does the same. So I now carry them in the plastic boxes they shipped in, and have a bunch of filters that I never use in the wallet, which I leave at home.
