Default queston for the assembled multitude

I have a Kodak DX-3500 and find I need a cable release - or something to so the job of a cable release.

Does anyone know of an adapter that will allow using a mechanical cable release with this camera?

Does anyone have a Pin identification list for the MATING connector on the bottom of the camera? Something tells me there
might just be the equivilent of a cable release ( remote shutter button ) doen there, but I haven't seen the information on that connector printer anywhere.

Thanks in advance,
Roy J. Gromlich

Hi Roy,
I can't answer your question because I don't have specifics on this camera, but if you will click on the link below, you may find that these people can help.

Harbortronics have the most knowledgeable people around when it comes to remote shutter release capabilities and limitations. They have both mechanical and electronic releases which work with a wide variety of cameras. Give them a try:
