Default New user, old question (Minolta F200)

Please, will somebody tell me how to set up this 'hidden' super-macro mode that I've heard so much about?! Apparently it allows shots of 0.5cm from wideangle...

Default Can't help but...

Hey. I can't assist you, but I have been wanting to find someone with the F200 for a while now. Can you give some feedback on it? It is in my thoughts second to the Canon Powershot S410 for purchase soon.

Hi arnelius, actually 0.5 is the distance for usual mode, in macro mode you can go as close as 0.2
As for supermacro here it goes:
1. Switch to Mutli Mode
2. Menu > Custom 1 > Focus mode > Manual
3. now you need to go out of menu and set distance to 0.5
4. Now enable macro mode and wait till the lens would be extended to tele position
5. click macro button once again to disable macro mode
6. move lens to Wide
after this you can come close to object as 2-3cm...
hope this would help.
