Default Equipment for Iceland trip?

Question:

I will next summer be going on a trip with my scouts to Iceland, and I wonder which of my cameras I should bring+

I've got these two which I could bring:

A Panasonic Lumix DMC-G3 with a 14-42mm PZ zoom lens (Pros for this solution is the low weight, the sensor size, and doesn't take up a lot of space. Cons is the limited zoom).

A Fujifilm Finepiz HS25EXR - a bridge camera (Pros is a huge optical range, takes normal AA batteries. Cons is a relative small sensor, twice the weight and volume of the Panasonic9.

The photos I'll be taking, will mostly be landscape, some animals - perhaps a bit around the campfire.

So, what shall I bring?

For landscapes, a large zoom is unnecessary, and for the campfire shots, you will need good low light performance, so that would have me going for the G3. If you are only going to take one camera, that would be the one I'd pick.

Whilst I'd probably suggest the G3 also- much would depend on the proposed output of the images. If you're going for small web based images (where outright IQ is irrelevant) there may be some merit in taking the HS25....
I've lost count the amount of times I've grabbed my FZ-150 over my DSLR/kit lens- mindful that something interesting over distance may occur...!!
Of course,if outright IQ is a priority, it's a no brainer....
