Default olympus e-3 focus issues!

I was trying to take a of a subject . she was about 20 feet away. focus on her eye. when i zoom in looking on the back of the camera, she looks all fuzzy and out of focus. not sure if she is to far away for this lense or not, any help or advise would be great. also the shot was hand held in sunlight.the lense is the 12-60mm zuiko.subject is blurry in live view and also blurry when i look at the pic on my pc. just very confused.

G'day mate

As this is your 1st posting - welcome to Steve's foto forum ~ hopefully someone here will come up with an answer

You say that the image was out of focus ...
Is it just this one image - or all images?

You say that you're using the 12-60mm lens ...
How much zoom were you using at the time?

For a better answer, we'll need a bit more information
Phil
