Default Best digital SLR for small hands

I am getting ready to buy a digital SLR and have used both the Canon Digital Rebel and the Fuji Finepix S1 Pro. I like both of these cameras but I have very small hands and want to find the lightest/smallest SLR out there. Any ideas?

Thanks...

The Nikon D-100 is very light, In fact when I first bought it and took it out of the box I thought "No way there is nothing to it" But now with all the accesories on it and the 80-200 lens it weighs almost 8 lbs... Without the MB-100 battrey grip it is smaller than the Fuji and probobly about the same size as the rebel.... Good Luck...

I would very heartily recomment a Pentax digital *ist. Go find a store that has one. It is definitely smaller than any other digital SLR out there.

From what I have read, the Nikon D70 (which is due out any day now, but I don't know about availability) is even smaller and lighter than then D100. Not by much, but a bit.

The Pentax *IST and the Olympus E-1 both seem lightweight.

Yes, that is true. The D70 is smaller then the D100, but I've seen pictures of the D70 next to the Canon Rebel and the D70 is slightly bigger than the Rebel. Both the D70 and Rebel are very close in weight.

>>lightest/smallest SLR out there<<<

According to all the reviews I have read that is the Pentax *ist.

I had the pleasure of playing with one in the local camera store today. It really is a small, light package.... I want it.

Cheers,
