Default Images lost through corruption.

with Kodak DX6340...

They show up fine in the camera, but when transfered across, Windows cannot show a preview of them and cannot open them with Photoshop or paint or anything in between.

I was wondering if anyone could have a look at the file and see if they can work out why it sometimes happens, or is this just something that happens no matter what you do and what equipment you use?

file is located at:

the file is 1mb..

Any help would be great..

I had not yet formatted the memory card. So I transfered the files over to the camera's internal memory, formatted the card and shifted them back.. tried to take them off the card again and they all worked fine... Maybe it's just the reader?

Oh well.. nevermind all..

Here's a site reference for a free image recovery program and people talking about it:

I Hope this helps, Suzan
