Default Sony DSCP-72 v Minolta DiMAGE X20

whilst comparing photo image quality on this website against the sony DSCP-72 and the minolta DiMAGE X20, the X20 seems to have a better picture quality thats alot sharper than the sony. How is it possible if the sony is 3.2 pixel and minolta is only 2 pixel?
I thought the more pixels means s better picture?
I`d like to purchase one of these but i dunno which to get now.

Not always. A "better" picture depends not only on pixels, but type of CCD or CMOS used, compression levels, and even lenses.
