I'm a Doctor Who fan. How would I post a Dr. Who avatar to my profile? I put in a URL but it looks way too big.

Direct from Steve's FAQ page.....

How do I get my own picture under my name?
Again in your profile there is a place for an 'Avatar' and avatar is the image under your name. Check with your Admin about the size of your avatar, it's usually considered common courtesy to use one under 150 pixels wide.

Just take the photo into any editor program and shrink it down to the above size. Like the ones on your front page...

Hope you don't mind my sample (any problem email me) It may be a little too wide still, and JPEG seems to be the prefered option, but that probably doesn't matter. Great Dr Who site, I watch it in the past with my dad.

OK, if I shrink it down, what do I put for the URL?

You will need to re-post it (the smaller one) on your personal site and link to the new / smaller items URL. Sorry I wasn't more specific.

Looks good.

Instructions may be a little lacking here and there, but Steve's site is one of the best and the nicest group of people. Somebody will usually help you through a problem.
