I want to get a tripod for myKodakDX 6490, but I have to idea what to look for. Here is a couple of tripods I have been looking at. Does anybody know if they are good ones or not? I'm not wanting to spend a bunch of money on one, but at the same time I don't want a piece of junk that is worthless. Here are the links of the ones I've been looking at. http://www.tripods4less.com/detail6306.html and

http://www.wolfes.com/cgi2/CatalogMgr.pl?cartID=a-4389&SearchField=category&SearchFor=81,22, com&template=Htx/shopacc.htx&ftr=tripods On this page I'm looking at either the Promaster 6400 Photo Tripod for $89.99 or the Promaster 6200 Photo Tripod for $69.99. What do you guys think of these tripods or any of the other tripods on this site? This store is pretty close to me so I wouldn't have to pay for shipping or anything. Unless you know of a site where I can find them for cheaper. Thanks.

just from my experience....i don't think you want to have the stabalizer poles in the middle...just takes away some flexibility....other than that...i don't know

Scroll down to the last section of the forums and you'll find a forum for Tripods and heads. Plenty of useful information there.

O'man, I didn't even see that forum way down there. Thanks for the info.
