Are you using the FinePixViewer software? If so, use the Automatic Save of the File menu.

If you're not using the FinePixViewer software, just copy the file(s) with the extension AVI.

Example of files on picture card:

DSCF0001.JPG
DSCF0002.JPG
DSCF0003.JPG
DSCF0004.AVI

The DSCF0004.AVI would be the movie.

i appreciate your response. neither the finepix viewer nor windows could see the file. the file was there as i played it back in the camera several times. any suggestions?

when i connect the camera i get a communication error. this is only when i record a movie. i don't get this error when downloading stills.
