In order to get the larger CCD, would you buy a Leica Digilux 2 or a Canon Rebel with some additional lenses? Comments?

I'd go with the Rebel, you can't beat a large-plate CMOS imager for image quality, the Panasonic LC1/Leica Digilux 2 isn't even in the same league. Just recently both of those cameras have been reviewed, DP Review did the Leica and DC Resource did the Panasonic. That's a lot of money for a 5MP fixed-lens camera

Thanks for your opinion. I had a Leica Minilux and really liked it so I was wondering if I was missing something with their digital cameras? Like all of us in the pocket money is a comfort so I'll go for the Rebel.
