Macro?

How much magnification?

Magnification at a reasonable shooting distance?

Minimum barrel distortion and at what shooting distances and magnifications?

Can one force it to stop down to minimum aperture?

When stopped down to minimum aperture does a flat target, perpendicular to camera, produce an image sharp corner to corner?

Can one manually focus and if so is it accurate?

Tripod socket?

Is there a way to take a shot at any moment without shaking camera ala cable shutter release or more likely a remote control?

Any flash capabilities up close?

zoom; doesnt matter.

apeture; at least as low as somwehere around 3

I want to get at least 5cm (closer is better)

flash.. whatever is fine.

I'm just looking for a good macro camera for <$400, I consider my self an advanced photographer.
