Steve,

I know you may not read this but if you do, I was reading a review on the Canon CP300 printer. It says it has a battery for easy portability. Then later on the review says that if you want to save some money, go with the CP200, it doesn't have the battery. When I read the review for the CP200 it says there's a battery.

So, is there a battery?

This wansn't to bash your site, i love this place and come here every day. I was just wanting to know what the deal was, I may get one of those printers.

Thanks for your time,

Dave

Oops, that was a mistake, sorry. CP200 is AC only, the CP300 is the one with the battery pack.

Hello Dave,

I have a Canon CP-200 and I love it. Small and easy to lug around.

Just a thought. I personally don't print anywhere there is not AC power. The office, home, friends house etc. In my judgement. The battery is just added expense, without real benefit. Would you lug it around packpacking or at the beach, or maybe pull it out and plop it up on the hood of your car? I wouldn't. For one thing it's too much trouble, just wait till I get home. Also, if any dirt on gunk gets on the paper while printing it becomes part of the picture because of the coating of the layers of color and clear coat.

Hope this helps.
