What is the best way to calibrate my monitor? Actually I just need to know how to do it at all.

The best way is to buy something that costs more than your monitor that you will use maybe 2 times.

I use Pantone's Spyder to calibrate all of my monitors, it's $149.

As long as we're on the subject of monitors, any opinions on th 22" Mitsubishi Diamond Pro 2070SB with calibration system for about $1225.

Needless to say, there isn't any place to go to see one of these things in operation.
