Click My Account at the top of the page. Then Preferences and then Board Theme. :-)

The forum colour can be changed, do as Mark said. But the site (reviews, news, etc.) cannot. Why is it like this? Well, the person who created, runs, pays and owns this place likes it and wants it this way. Fair enough in my eyes.

Yea, I found after writingmy message that the color scheme can be changed. But still I wonderwhat kind of person has chosen the black as default? He/she is certainly not a professional designer, I'msorry.

And I think that any webmaster should ask something about their audience, not design a webpage by their personal taste/feel.

Otherwisethis would be a great forum :bye:

Well actually this is a great forum! And I feel that someone who has made 2 posts is notin a position to question that fact!!

This is probably not the best way to introduce yourself to a new forum, especially when a free service is being provided to you.

Hi! I'm new here (actually I had joined and had been lurking for quite some time).

There are people who DO like the black design, you know.

Some of us find it easy on the eyes and easy to read.

Most people don't like the black design but something peaceful - like white and blue. I think that a forum should be designed suitablefor most people. Of course there can be a black version and something else for someone who want it.

Are you a professional? If so, show us some of your work. If not, who are you to criticize? If you are a web designer I would have expected you to appreciate other peoples takes on web design and be happy to see something different. I'll put forward one of mine (unfinished) www.bonsai.buildtolearn.net As I said, whoever pays for this site can do what they want. I personally prefer the black design because the white one is badly designed. It takes weeks to load (I have cable).

I've just read an article by a man called James May in an old issue of Top Gear. You might find what he has to say interesting. He's right.
