Is there a utility (free/share) that will allow me to set the file created date/time to the "modified" value?

When I upload pix via Nikon utility, it set the Modified to when pix was taken but the Create date is when upload occured...this affects some other utilities that use Create date as "camera" date...

I can set these one-by-one using "Properties Plus" but have hundreds that I need to adjust...

You may want to try this one. The description indicates that it will work on multiple files at once, and is capable of setting the create data to equal the modified date. I have no experience with it:

I use cam2PC when transferring picture to my PC and it keeps dates and times intact. This nifty program can do far more than just download pictures. Take a look here: http://www.nabocorp.com/cam2pc/

THANKS for the replies! I have found some very interesting software that may be of use...But have found that...:idea:maybe I should retry the upload...and...realized that where i had put pix was NOT where i thought...thus the "bad" files were actually COPIES via PC and NOT directly from camera! DUH! That would explain it...
