Default Steve--I can't edit my posting...

I posted 2 pix on the "Other" forum, with some text, as well. Shocked by my faulty capitalization, I clicked on "Edit" and got a message that "You Are Not Permitted To View This Forum."

Que pasa? I never had this before. I tried several times with the same result.

Thanks,

I think it might be a browser problem. I
had trouble w/ IE6, and jumped over to
Netscape and everything looked o.k. I
repaired IE6 and now it's o.k.
Who Knows? The gremlins are out, it's
that time of the year.

Default A easy fix

I use this same forum software on my website, and I ran into this same problem. Someone pointed this out to me today, and I went out to find a fix. After about 30 minutes of searching, I found it.

You have to find your viewthread.php file, and download 2 copys onto your computer. Then you want to take one, and open it using wordpad, then use the find option to find the bad line of coding. You will want to replace those lines of bad code, with the updated code.

Here is the link to the fix for this problem

I hope I explained this well enough, I found it pretty simple to do my self. But I know some do struggle with things like this, good luck.
