The latest release (v:7) of this soft seems to deal with "raw" files from numerous cameras.

Has anyone info on this new possibility or do you know a place to find more infomation about it. The litterature from ACDSee is very poor on this topic.

Thanks in advance to all and everyone.

Well, I didn't realize that ACDSee had even added RAWsupport.

Looking through their web site, this is what I found on it:

Examine your images in their original RAW formats.
ACDSee supportsdata from Canon, Nikon, Fujifilm,
Olympus, Kodak, Minolta and other major camera
brands.

Which RAW formats are supported in ACDSee 7?

Answer:
ACDSee 7 supports several RAW formats through the ACDSee photoPro function. These formats are: CR2, CRW, DCR, MRW, NEF, ORF, RAF and specific TIF formats.

The RAW formats will vary from camera to camera as the cameras will not use the same CCD chip to capture images. (The CCD chip captures and creates the images in the camera. When the design of the CCD changes this naturally affects how the image is created.

Looking through their forums, I see some posts on the subject that imply that you'll be limited to 1/4 resolution photos without the optional PhotoPro(which is also required for 48-bit support). Here is an example:

You may want to try asking questions on their forums.
