Default CoolPix 950 microscope adapter

Does anyone have experience using one? Do you know the Nikon part number? Anybody have one for sale?

The LE adaptor only provides mechanical coupling to the eyepiece.

There are also other non-Nikon brand adaptors with optical coupling:

http://www.thales-optem.com/
(eyepiece, C-mount adaptors etc)

http://microscopeworld.com/digital/nikon-coolpix.htm
(eyepiece adaptor - manufacturer???)

Both are >50% cheaper than Nikon's adaptor, but the image quality is unknown: I cannot find any review on those.
