I have a Fujifilm A303. Ive been using it for a year now. All of the sudden when I plug it in to the usb port, I don't get the screen that I used to to download the pics. It always popped right up and I downloaded in seconds. Any suggestions on how to get this function back?

Go into"My Computer", and you should see your camera when it's plugged in. Right click on it and select Properties. If you're running a newer versions of Windows (for example XP), then you'll have an "Autoplay" tab under Properties that lets you tell Windows what action to take when it sees it (start Windows Camera Wizard, copy files to a folder, etc.).

Just select Pictures from the drop down list in the Autoplay tab and tell it what action you want it to take.

Personally, I just go to the drive associated with my media, click into the folder containing the images, select them, and use Edit, Copy (then I paste them into a different folder on my PC's hard disk drive) -- But, some users like the Autoplay feature better.

Lots of things tend to go wrong with USB. Did you make any changes to your PC before the problem started (i.e., load new software, update Windows with SP2, plug in any new devices into your USB ports)?

Does the camera show up as a removable drive under "My Computer" when it's plugged into the USB Port? If not, have you tried unplugging other devices from your USB ports to see if one of them is causing a conflict?

Sometimes, troubleshooting a USB problem can be tedious.

Does it show up as a removable drive at all when plugged in under My Computer, and can you get to the folders containing images when you click on them? If yes, then the problem is not with the USB ports, it's with Autoplay.

If no (PC doesn't see camera at all, as it doesn't show up under My Computer), then it's probably a problem with the USB Ports or drivers.
