I wonder if anyone can advise on whether they would return for replacement a camera with 2 obvious dead pixels and 3 others less obvious. This is on the viewing TFT not the final images. It's a mildly annoying cosmetic rather than a real problem but I am unfamiliar with the quality of camera TFT's to know how normal this is. I am very happy with the camera otherwise but as I can still get a full refund/replacement regardless of reason until Tuesday I need to decide. Any advice welcomed.

My advice would be to return it. Bad pixel elements in LCDs does occur but if you can return it for a new unit without the problem, why not? Some people might be able to live with it but it would drive me nuts. Just my 2 Cs.

I'd return it if I could. It will bring you closer to perfection.

OK returned it, new one is fine. must've been unlucky. Friend got one too, great camera. Cannot understand why they're so hard to find, best camera for £150 IMHO by miles. 640x480 movie @ 30fps is excellent, though had to knock up program to auto xvid+resync them.

Thanks for the advice...
