How do I set the custom White Balance for my strobes. Do I just set the camera to 6500K and leave it:?

The manual says to set it at 6500K. Do you think 5500K would be better?

It is easy enough to test just try a shot at each setting, and use the one you like the best.

If the manual for your strobes says they are 6500k that would be a good place to start. Most strobes I find are a bit on the cool(towards the blue) side color wise.

EDIT: I found this page that trys to explain how using digital color balance indoors works http://www.webphotoschool.com/Lesson_Library/Free_Lessons/Using_Digital_White_Balance_Indoors/

Thank you PeterP. You've settled my nerves a bit. You're right, Just take a picture at both. I feel a little foolish.
