I saw this format of review on another site and thought I'd do something similar for the Pelican (since that site concentrates on Lowepro and other brands).

Here's where you insert a custom nameplate that you can purchase from
Pelican ($9.95 each). It allows for three lines of text and it's engraved
on high density/impact abs plastic, black top, white letters.

This case is really nice and rugged, and will fit in the overhead compatments of airplanes (according to Pelican, I haven't tried it yet).
I wanted this case for airplane travel, as well as for work use. As you
see in the pictures above, there's still a bit of room to put more stuff,
and everything is well protected from impact by the nice padded liner
(I think Lowepro makes the liners for Pelican). The case is water proof
and will float on water with up to 64 pounds of equipment inside. It has
an air pressure equalization valve in the front, which prevents the case
from getting stuck shut if the air pressure was lower inside. That same
valve prevents moisture and dust from getting inside the case. I just
wished the wheels would be a bit larger, but other than that I really
have nothing bad to say about the case. And of course, this case
comes with Pelican's “You break it, we replace it…forever” guarantee

I have a lot of Pelican equipment. It is some of the best made, BUT I think everyone should remember there is a disclaimer in their othewise excellent warranty.

The guarantee does not cover shark bite, bear attack and children under five.
:G:lol:
I have been lucky and never had any of my dive lights suffer from any covered or uncoved problems. the oldest is over 30 years old now.
