Default Protecting the LCD?

Hey all,

I recently purchased a G2 and was wondering if I need to buy anything to protect the LCD or is it scratch resistent?

Also what can i use to clean the LCD and lens? can i use normal window cleaner on the lense?

Thanks,
Don

don't believe the manufacturers: there is no such thing as a scratch resistant lcd!!!
The PDA solution is a good one, or if you can find a clear static-sheet that you do not need to adhere.

Hoodman sells "HoodSkins" - LCD protectors. For $20 you get a package of 3 sets of 4 different sizes (1.5 to 4 inch LCD).

I was able to get a very good one that fit perfectly about a year ago and still using it. Got it here:

I think it was $6 plus a buck or two shipping.
