I don't want to break any of the rules on this forum. I would hate to get banned after just getting started.

Thanks for the Help. I will wait for a reply to my e-mail on how to be an advertiser.

The main rules are that we don't allow any wanted, for sale, or commercial type posts. You'll see these in the confirmation e-mail you got when joining the forums here.

You'll also see some announcement posts at the top of some forums. For example, we ask that "what camera should I buy" type questions be placed in the first forum (designed for that purpose).

You'll see similar announcement posts in some of the other forums, asking that questions and answers for DSLR models go in their appropriate forums.

For example, we have a Canon Forum designed for non-DSLR models, as well as a Canon Digital SLR Forum. So, the DSLR questions and answers belong in the Digital SLR forum.

You'll find that the forums here are friendly, and there are not a lot of written rules like you see on many other forums. But, if the moderators think that a post is inappropriate, then they may choose to edit or remove it.

As long as the posts are actually related to Digital Photography, you are abiding by the rules regarding commercial posts, and you aren't upsetting other forum members, I don't think you'll need to worry about being banned. ;-)

If you go to Steves main site, you will see a list of the forum rules as you scroll over the Forum icon with your mouse. BTW, Nobody is hunting for people to ban, but this isn't baseball...posting commercial messages will get you deleted & banned (after one warning).

The rules are pretty simple:

Ask honest questions

Give honest answers/opinions

Stick to the topic at hand

Play nice
