Could someone point me to a web site to order my photos from? I have previously used Walmart... but they seem soooo slow in uploading my pictures now. I have 150+ and don't want to be uploading all night!

Thanks for your suggestions!

1kwords,

I have had better quality and service from Winkflash than Walmart... and the cost is lower. I usually get 8x10s and my file size is from 4 to 6 mb. I am on a dial-up and know all about long upload times but Winkflash will send you a CD with a prepaid mailer and you can burn your pics to the CD and send it back by snailmail.

If I order a blank CD online during normal business hours, It arrives in my mailbox in two or three days (Winkflash in in Rhode Island, I am in Oregon). When you send the CD in, they load your pics to your account on their server so you can reorder in the future without re-sending the files.

You can get the complete details here:

http://www.winkflash.com

The only connection I have with this company is that I am a satisfied customer.

Bill

I'm also a satisfied customer of Winkflash. There have been several threads on this site where people have compared the various on-line services - sending the same pictures to all the places. While I recall the focus being on cost and quality, not upload time - Winkflash was a definite winner in both categories. I would certainly give it a try if I were you - 0.16 a print for 4x6, 1.99 for 8x10 and 0.99 shipping regardless of size. They use Fuji crystal archive paper and after getting about 50 pictures from them I haven't had a bad one yet.
