I am looking at a new flash withgood power and am considering the Sigma EF-500 DGsuper for my Digital Rebel 300D.

My question as it is quite unclear on both the Sigma site and a E-Bay retailer whether or not you can get the full benifits of the TTL or not with my Rebel. Is this Flash equal in functionality to the Canon 420/550/580. I also am using the Waisa HAC.

I only ask because Im doing a a wedding in two weeks and am in need of a good flas unit.

Thanks for your help.....BTW this is my first post here, I hope to learn alot here.

The 500DG Super is basically the functional equvalent of a 550EX aside from a guide number of 160ft as opposed to 175! Get it and don't look back. I love mine and use it with my 10D all the time.
