I think I will go with the fuji s5100. It seems like a nice newbie camera. I found at buydig.com for $250 and there is a pdf file for a rebate for $50. I found this kinda odd because why wouldnt Fuji just include the rebate in the box?? Is this a scam maybe?
Oh, and the second place was bhphotoandvideo.com for $280.

So please recomend a good place to buy or if you had any experince with the two above please share.

Thank you

B&H and Adorama and buydig.com are all good places to buy. The rebate is printed inside of stores many times and by putting it into PDF (until the experiration date) it can be used as such.

I work for Office Max, and we download rebates from manufacturer's websites all the time print them in black and white off a laser printer and they work just fine later on. =o)

Btw... GREAT camera, I can highly recommend it.

Typically the rebate is used to move overstocked/outdated/unsold stock. Sometimes the rebate is stuck on the outside of the box, but I have never heard of one inside the box. They would really rather sell it at a higher price if they could.

I have placed several small orders with BH Photovideo and had no problems. In each case, I received my order within two working days.

As stated the rebate is to move excess stock and might even be from the store itself.I buy all my camera equipment from B&H and love going toits store and checking out the goods in person. They have great prices and awesome service.

Hope this helps.:-)

Hi,

You can check out the ratings of most of the stores on

http://resellerratings.com/

If a seller has a bad reputation, it will reflect on his ratings on this site.

Hope this helps,

Regards'
