Default If I aim a 3mp camera's lense thru a 4mp camera's viewfinder

Will I have a 7mp (added) or a 12mp (multiplied) resultant picture?

Ok, I'm totally joking. But it wold be interesting to see what kind of answers I got LOL!!!

The EVF and lcd are not actually anywhere near 3 or 4 Mpix, do you think they'd put that much into a pre-view array, when they struggle to make the image capture sensor?. I guess you'ld get a 3 Mpix image populated with a few viewfinder pixels here and there.

Now what you could have asked, is if you bolted a 3 & 4 Mpix cam together with some clever polarising - could you make a 7Mpix stereo pic!

Good job we're not always serious here!

Actually, you are almost talking about digiscoping, which is a single digicam and a telescope. Do a websearch and you will find alot about it.

OK, so you can get one of these 'scopes to fit a binocular microscope. BUT if I put a digicam on each occular - do I get twice the res. for less money than this adaptor thingy?

Can I do the same thing with Binoculars, chuck away the zoom and get more Mpix from 2 cheap cams! The product could be called a 'Digibin'. Haven't seen any round print formats from the on-line photo services though.

What you should do is, where it says '3mp' written on your camera, scrub that out with a pen and write '4mp' above it.

Yeah, but having 2 cams fixed to a bar, one for each eye, would look so Cooooool!
