No, I haven't tested 50 cameras because I already had a very short list of cameras that filled my needs and wants before spending any time on testing them. I'm not going to waste my time testing cameras that I don't want to buy.

Hey, catface

Where did you learn to write? This is the best writing i have ever seen a cat do!

Steves-digicam reviews are really helpfull. You can tell a lot of work has gone into each and every one of them. I rate hie reviews highly and are amongst a few that i always come back to again and again for help and advice.

Why not spend your time learning to write?

High school english teacher would not be happy.

mdorani

Digital camera owners tend to be emotional when their camera may not be listed in a recommended list. I can recommend my camera to others because I have been using it for more than a year.

Hey Gib
"hie" Is one mistake made, how can it compare to the multitude that catface has made?

Anyway, just having a laugh. But catface should learn to write first, how are people going to understand his "reviews" otherwise!?

Hahahaha

Hi mdorani

Yes your picture is cute. Nice to see you put a readable sentance together.
Just making a reference to the way you write. It would be better to write clearly without deliberate, or maybe not deliberate wording. A lot of people come here to get help so it does help if they can understand what you scribe. Anyway, hope you are having a great new year, all the best.

mdorani - Please keep us updated - it's useful to get your sort of perspective on cameras.

Apropos cameras just over 1 megapixel, my first one was a Leica Digilux zoom. It's the same thing, pretty well, as the Fuji MX1700 zoom. I've been very pleased with it and I still use it sometimes when I need something more pocketable than my newer and much bigger camera.

If you get a chance to try it in either the Leica or Fuji version - they're pretty well identical I think, though both have been discontinued - it'd be interesting to hear what you think of it.
