I want this lens , but too cheap price scears me. What would you do?


Some are saying they sell "grey versions" or international versionsshould I reconsider?

That is an excellent price. I have had that lens for several years. It is my standard lens on my Nikon D100. My only complaint is the pincushion distortion (sides of image bow in) is quite evident at either end of the zoom range. Other than that it's a great lens. I paid about $500 for mine.

I found out recently that it is a fairly rugged lens when I dropped it. It did bounce off the toe of my sneakers so maybe that wasn't a good "drop test"!

But it's completly redesiged lens from that you have.

but it's more expencive...
