Default convertind vidio tapes

hi-I am looking for the best way to burn my old analoge camcorder tapes to DVD. I saw somthing about DAZZEL . is this the
best i can do?

Best, no. The capture card I use costed $1500CDN and can do broadcast quality...all depends on the level of quality you want, and suggest you ask on video forums.

If you're burning to DVD, you should look to a capture card that is designed with that function in mind, like the Matrox RT2500 that goes for about $800US.

If you don't care about DVD quality, you can do it with a cheaper setup and you can make VCDs with a regular CD burner rather than going DVD...but VCDs play in most DVDs.

Pinnacle makes the DV500 which has excellent quality and can easily do DVD. The cost is about $400.00 and what I like about this DV500 it has both analog and digital inputs, so this will allow you to use your old analog and any new digital equipment that you have or may want to get.
