Default Youppiii.......my new cam: Olympus c3000

Hi,

According to my recent post here, I was able to pick an Olympus c3000 for 200$. The olympus c3040 was a little to bit expensive. Both have almost the same thing.

Thanks to everybody that help me to choice a dig. cam.

I have a question about smart media card.

On the spec of the olympus c3000, it said that we can use a 8, 16, 32 and 64. They don't talk about the 128. Is it because the 128 is newer then the olympus c3000 so that why they did not included the 128 in the manual? Can I used the smarth media 128 in the Olympus 3000?

Is there a difference between an Samsung 128, sony 128, or whatever other brand?

THANKS again for all you help.

congrats. you will enjoy this camera as much as I did when I got it!!!
...and yes, yo can use the 128 card with it. I bought a sandisk 128, but i don't think there is that much difference between brands.
Enjoy

I use to own the c3000 and it was a great camera. My son-in-law still has his C3000. We both use the 128mb sm cards with no problems. I hope you have fun with your camera.
