I need to take a photo of a girl for a school yearbook. 20 years ago it was just give them an 8 X 10 print on glossy paper. Is it still the same or will they need a CD and the 8 X 10? I have not done a school photo in the past 20 years or so and I really need to be educated.

You'd probably get the right info by calling the school and asking the yearbook faculty advisor. I shot this stuff for a while and we used to provide 2x3" prints. Getting the head size right and making sure the backgrounds match is very important for some schools, particularly those who enter their books in competitions.

Thanks Henry, Good idea. I'll try to get the information if I can.

Ronnie.
