On behalf of Steve and the rest of [email protected] Steve's Digicams, we'd like to apologize for our extended down time.

Upon updating our software there was some very unfortunate damage that occurred to our SQL database which is now over 6gigs and not an easy thing to work with.

Shutting down the forums was required in order to sort this problem out and ensure that we did not lose any data, which you will find we have not

Rest assured that no one was more frustrated over this than Steve himself, as you all know, Steve's number one priority here at Steve's Digicams, is the quality and care of these free resources he delivers to you.

We thank you all for your patience and understanding.

Regards,

http://www.steves-digicams.com

Good to see that the forum managed to get back up and running again and I know what it's like when things get damaged and how much a P.I.T.A that it can be but good work and thank you

Turns out there are still some minor glitches and we are addressing them. We shouldn't need to turn off the forums for any of them though.

Please feel free to post any errors you run into, right here.

Thank you.

Thanks Mark.

It seems to be working fine now as far as I can tell so far.

Glad that the forums are back online, but a little problem persists when posting with Mac's Safari browser: still unable to leave empty line breaks between paragraphs. Hope that can be addressed sometime in the future. Thanks for the hard work though!
