I was wondering if any of you know the software which would allow me batch adding the author comment to the summary of the .jpg file.
Right now I use PS CS2 action tool to do it but I would like it to be added to Origin-Author text box.
Any ideas? thanks.

It is fairly easy to do it in CS, so I assume that CS2 can do it as well.
You just need to record an action to do it, that includes opening the file and then saving it again.

The is the only part I'm a little unsure of. I assume the bridge lets you select a large group of files and then apply an action to them. CS did this in the file browser.

I would suggest you search on google with something like "copyright action" and I bet you'll find lots of examples of it.

I believe the original author can be assigned by the camera in some cameras. What camera are you using?

Yes I know about it amd I do it but Nikons, which I use, put that info in a different place as a comment and it is not what I'm looking for.

its pretty simple...in windows explorer..
-select all your jpeg files that you want to add this field value to
-then right click and go to properties, a window will pop up showing you combined properties.
-Select the summary tab at the top.
-There will be an "advanced" button below, click it
-Scroll down to the Author field, double click it and add whatever text you might want to add and press "OK".
-all your selected files now have this property embedded.

I didn't know you could do that (batch edit some of the EXIF/IPTC info using Windows Explorer).
