I am in the market for a Pole Aerial Photography system. Can somebody help me out? Does anybody do this or know about it? Very few people make pole kits and the prices are all over the place. I want to be able to raise a rebel (or even a 20d) up to 50'.

Thanks in advance.

There are a bunch of options. Geach at Bird Shots is probably the most reasonable. I use a 40' Hastings pole with a Canon G6. As much as I would like a dSLR, there is no preview and no way to electronically adjust the zoom. I use the GentLED zoom and shutter control. I also use a flipped over Brooxes Kite mount. Another option is an Askman mount.

my prob as been fireing the shutter from so high.......was gonna make a rig with a solenoid pushing the shutter via an arm but this look way better

When will spammers trying to sell their products learn that Steve's isn't the place to do so? I've banned the user and will get all future links to the users website blocked by anyone trying to like to them in the future.
