Default Lexmark Printer

I have a Lexmark 45se & I thought that this printer did a good job on photos, but on another web site it got quite a bashing. They have said it's not a very good printer when it come to photos. I was sold on the idea that it had the highest res (at the time) so it did a better job in printing pics the res is 4800x1200. I notice that there is no reviews on this web site on this model but would like to know what you guys think, (yes especially you Steve).
Any & all views would be appreciated, on this model only, if possible.

My son has a Lexmark z23 and it does a decent job - on a par with my epson 680 - if you like what you see then it's ok.

I have and dont use anymore a Z33.
Unfortunately it eats ink like no tommorow.

When it comes to printing pictures they all gobble up the ink.

I always refill my carts with bulk ink using syringes. You can get continuous ink systems for epsons I believe. This all adds up to cheap printing.

Personally, I'm looking forward to (it'll happen) when professional printing is dirt cheap.
